- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon powdered salep
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Mix sugar and salep powder, then add cold milk. The mixture should be thoroughly whipped in a blender to melt any lumps of sugar and dust. Then put the mixture to boil. Once boiled, reduce the temperature of the stove and keep boiling stirring constantly until you get a thick mixture. Salep is best when it is thick, but be careful to remain liquid. Boiled salep is served in cups and then sprayed with cinnamon.
