Five Foods That Make Us Smarter

This is well-known that eating  healthy food is good for us. Eating more different species of fruit and vegetables is even better, because the body gets all the necessary vitamins for optimal functioning. The best part is that a certain types of fruits or vegetables bring several benefits.

For example,

carrots  are not only good for your eyes, carrots are good for your brain too. So, if in a particular situation you need increased brain activity and energy, for example when you are studying for an exam, you should start to eat more healthy food that  improves the brain. Here are some foods that you need to start consume in the daily diet if you want to improve and increase brain activity.

1.       Carrots

Despite vitamin A carrots contain vitamin B, which helps building and secretion of chemicals known as neurotransmitters. The nervous system depends on neurotransmitters in the transmission of messages to the brain, particularly those related to mood, hunger and sleep.

2.       Yoghurt

Yoghurt is rich in vitamin B12, also known as vitamin for memory which only presents in foods from animal origin. This vitamin facilitates the function of nerves, and except in yogurt, vitamin B12 can be found in cheese, salmon, beef and crustacean.

3.       Spinach

The best food for brain health is spinach. It is rich in antioxidants,  and it also contains many vitamins and minerals.

4.       Green tea

Green tea is not only a great source of antioxidants, but also contain significant amounts of caffeine, which is a good substitute for coffee. Caffeine improves meditative function, focus and concentration. Antioxidants can be found in coffee and chocolate , but they are not as strong as they are strong in green tea.

5.       Eggs

This  is also well-known that eggs are good for our brain. Choline, which improves the memory can be found in eggs, especially in egg whites.
