One of the best parts of training for a new race distance—whether it’s a 10K or an ultramarathon—is that almost every long run ensures a new PDR. (That’s Personal Distance Record.) As 4-milers become 10-milers, and 10-milers become 20-milers, celebrate every new achievement. (After all, we’ve heard it’s about the journey, not the destination.)
